Darren Henley should be nicely warmed up for the start of his professional career in the spring.
The twice Hampshire amateur champion from Stoneham is currently in Phoenix, Arizona preparing for the 2003 campaign which he hopes will end with him securing his European Tour card.
Henley plans to go down the same road as another former Hampshire champion, Martin Le Mesurier, and play on the UK-based EuroProTour but first he'll need to pass out of the qualifying school in April.
Le Mesurier secured a top four finish on the EuroTour order of merit which gave him a ranking for this season's European Challenge Tour.
