Gosport MP Peter Viggers launched an attack on the National Health Service during a debate in the House of Commons.
During the session Mr Viggers drew attention to the problems caused by changes in chiropody services and explained how difficult it was for his constituents to received adequate foot care in the town.
He also highlighted the problems of access to NHS dentists in Gosport. He said: "Elderly people are struggling to cope without professional foot care and are reliant on friends and family for help.
"Similarly, the lack of NHS dentist provision in Gosport means at least 25,000 people are without an NHS dentist locally."
