CONCERNS are growing for a father-of-two who has been missing from his Hampshire home for nearly two months.

Michael Jamieson, pictured, 42, was last seen on November 2 in the Romsey hotel where he worked as a kitchen porter and cook.

Staff at the White Horse in the Market Place alerted police when he did not appear for work as normal.

Divorced Mr Jamieson, who has two children in Ireland whom he has not seen for two years, came to Romsey in May and moved into the staff quarters at the hotel.

Sergeant Alison McShea of Romsey police said: "He went missing on November 2 and has not been seen or heard of since.

"He was at work because he lives on the premises and came downstairs to do the breakfasts dressed in casual clothing. He had a cup of tea and then stated he was returning to his room to change into his chef's whites, but he was never seen again."

Mr Jamieson is described as white, 5ft 6ins, slim, clean-shaven with brown, streaked, collar-length hair.

Anyone with information is urged to call Romsey police on 0845 045 4545.
