THE Southern Elec-tric inquiry line will be closed on New Year's Day and run a special service over the next week.
But customers are being reminded that the 24-hour emergency line on 0845 770 80 90 will be open throughout the New Year period.
The inquiry line, which can be reached on 0845 7444 555, is open between 8am and 8pm today, 8am and 2pm tomorrow, 8am and 8pm on Monday and 8am and 6pm on New Year's Eve.
Normal service (8am to 8pm) resumes after the one-day break.
