The big switch on will take place in Fareham tomorrow to officially start the town's Christmas festivities.
Fareham mayor Pam Bryant will be accompanied by Father Christmas to officially switch on the Christmas lights.
Stars of this year's panto Aladdin will also be on hand to add to the festive cheer. The cast at Ferneham Hall's production includes Alvin Stardust Jeremy Spake and Julie Paton.
Councillor Bryant said: "I hope many visitors to the town centre will enjoy the Christmas lights and events throughout the lead-up to Christmas."
Tomorrow will also mark the start of late-night shopping.
Many shops will stay open until 9pm every Thursday in the run-up to Christmas.
