The hunt goes on for a masked man who attacked a girl walking home after a night out in Winchester.

The 17-year-old was grabbed as she walked along Western Road, Fulflood, at 11.45pm on Tuesday, August 27th.

The Peter Symonds' College student broke free and shouted at the man, who fled. The girl was shaken but unhurt. Police conducted house-to-house enquiries near the scene.

Officers are also studying CCTV footage to trace the teenager's route from Bar Iguana, in Jewry Street at 11.30pm, along Stockbridge Road towards Western Road.

The attacker was white, in his 40s, with short grey hair, wearing a dark thigh-length jacket and balaclava.
