Andrew Owens, has been appointed the port of Southampton's new operations officer.
In his new appointment, 39-year-old Andrew will be responsible for overseeing the operations at both the multi-user bulk terminal and the Western Docks' Mayflower Cruise Terminal while rail traffic and waste management will also form part of his role.
Prior to Andrew's appointment at Southampton Docks, he worked for Marchwood Military Port for 22 years holding the post of troop commander which involved overseeing the welfare and career management of more than 35 people.
Andrew is married to Sheila and has two children, Sean aged 16 years and 14-year-old Joanne.
