FOOD and drink companies across Hampshire are being encouraged to enter into national awards to find the best exporter of goods in the country.
The annual Food from Britain and HSBC Food and Drink Export Awards have been launched in association with The Grocer magazine
A separate award for the leading food and drink exporter in England is being included in the competition for the second year.
There are seven categories to choose from; cereal-based, grocery, drinks, seafood, speciality, frozen, chilled and the new confectionery.
The deadline for entries is October 1 and the winners will be announced at the Export Awards Luncheon and Network Forum on December 11. For more information on how to enter, visit www.foodfrombritain/star.
