RHYTHMIC South boasted a silver medallist at the Scottish Open Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship.
Gemma Hosey, a sports studies student at Peter Symonds College, finished runner-up in a pedigree competition.
The only girl to beat her was the accomplished Welsh winner, who had represented her country in the Commonwealth Championships.
As reward for her hard work, Hosey is jetting off to Bulgaria this summer for extra rhythmic training and would be glad of any sponsorship to help her on her way.
Rhythmic South's contingent in Scotland took their national grades in tandem with the main event in order to qualify for the British Championships.
Four of them - Freya Tee (under-10s), Cathy Chen (under-10s), Joanna So (under-10s) and Joanna Foyle (under-12s) - managed to achieve that goal.
Results - Grade 4: Freya Tee (silver), Cathy Chen (bronze)
Grade 5: Joanna So (silver), Ellen Monument (bronze)
Grade 6: Rosy de Wolf (silver), Megan de Wolf (bronze)
Grade 7: Joanna Foyle (bronze).
