Jane MacDonald, The Mayflower
Jane MacDonald made a sparkling appearance at the Mayflower Theatre to a nostalgic crowd of fans.
Jane shot to fame as the charismatic character in the popular BBC docu-soap The Cruise and has now been singing for more than 20 years.
Despite the glitz and glamour of the performance, Jane kept her down-to-earth persona by cracking saucy jokes and sharing funny anecdotes about her life.
With a mix of music and humour, she built up a close relationship with her audience who reacted with great enthusiasm.
She performed a number of medleys combining 60s classics such as Walk on By, Sat a Little Prayer for You and Always Something There to Remind Me.
Her backing singers are all solo artists in their own right and she dedicated part of the show to letting them take centre stage.
This is her fourth tour to date and she will be performing at the Bournemouth International Center on June 28.
