PUPILS from Whitchurch Primary School have been creating their own animals and enclosures following a visit to Marwell Zoological Park.
The 88 youngsters from years three and four visited the Conservation education Centre and then went round the park on a fact-finding mission to see how Marwell's enclosures correlate with the natural habitat of the animals.
The children are now making their own plans and models of enclosures of a selection of animals and some of the designs will be on display at the zoo's education centre.
Teacher Sam Biggs, said: "The enclosures have been planned and the children are hard at work creating the models.
"The children are showing great enthusiasm for this project."
