Nicky Jones is brought into the team for Hampshire's tussle with Sussex in the Top Four Championship on Sunday (11.30).
Jones, of Boscombe Cliff, plays at two after county boss John Plomer was forced to make a change because Dean Morgan (Boscombe Cliff) is on international duty with the Commonwealth Games squad.
Peter Ward, who occupied the two position in the preliminary round win against the Isle of Wight, switches to lead in a rink completed by Russell Morgan (Boscombe Cliff) and Sports Centre skip Martyn Sekjer.
Prize for the winners is a place in the regional final at Wealdstone, Middlesex, on Sunday, July 7.
