SEVERAL women from Andover are taking part in a midnight fundraising event power-walking through the centre of London tomorrow night.
Gemma Cleary, a 19-year-old car worker, said: "I have been training for this half marathon event with Amanda Scott and Barbara Snow by power-walking around And-over. We have had a few strange looks but nobody has said anything.
"There are around 10,000 women taking part in the Playtex Moonwalk which is raising money for breast cancer res-earch. We thought it would be a fun thing to do in a good cause."
So far Gemma has been promised £300 by sponsors.
