TESTOSTERONE was running high at Beaulieu over the weekend, with thousands of leather clad bikers converging for the huge Motorcycle World event.

The event featured stunt riders, superbike racers, arena events, trade stands, club stands, a bike mart and lots more for fans of two wheels.

Top stars taking part in the event included Gary Rothwell, Terry Grant, Sammy Miller, Paul Lewis, Dave Jefferies, Malcolm Wheeler and Mick Grant.

Among the top highlights was a series of demonstration runs on the Beaulieu circuit, providing the chance for visitors to get right up close to the action and experience all the sights, sounds and smells of the motorcycle racing experience.

This proved entertaining as groups of wannabe racers went hell for leather along the track, just yards from spectators, with some of the more daredevil participants demonstrating spectacular wheelies.

Other favourites with the crowds were displays of death-defying stunting on two, three, four and even five wheels.

These included Gary Rothwell on a Hyabusa trike, Terry Grant's attempts to better his Spin The Wheel world record, and Paul Lewis with his antics on a five-wheel Harley Davidson.
