A RAILWAY worker has been cleared of indecently assaulting an Eastleigh nurse, after allegedly dragging her down an alleyway.
It took jurors at Southampton Crown Court about half an hour to reach their verdict.
Ronald Parker, 58, of Darwin Road, Eastleigh, had denied indecent assault and false imprisonment. The prosecution claimed he had grabbed the nurse as they approached each other in Twyford Road, Eastleigh, and forced her down the alleyway, where he indecently touched her.
Mr Parker said he had passed her in the street on his way to work but had not touched her.
