Chrysalis Racing have been voted third best Motorcycle Racing Team for last season in the United Kingdom by Motor Cycle News.

Chrysalis finished third to the Phase One Endurance Team who scooped the World Endurance Championship title in 2000 followed by the V & M Racing Team. V & M Racing took Jim Moodie to the British Supersport 600 Championship as well as two Isle Of Man TT wins with David Jeffries on the R71 Yamaha.

"I think we can take great heart in the fact that we have been recognised over and above several top UK-based teams in 2000," said Neil Morris who helped brother Lee keep Chrysalis Racing going as a tribute to their parents Dave and Alison, who both died in 1999, Dave after a racing accident.

High-spot of the season was a Singles TT one-two for Chrysalis riders John McGuinness and Jason Griffiths in the Isle of Man last June. They hope to defend the title, which Dave Morris won three times running, this year.

"We are looking more and more competitive as time goes on and have had assurances from many influential bodies of the sport that we can expect some great support for the coming season," said Lee.
