SFA Senior Cup

Holders AC Delco went out of the Southampton FA Senior Cup despite a plucky performance against Hampshire Premier Division side Hythe & Dibden, who ended 3-1 winners after extra-time.

The match was goalless after 90 minutes, but an overtime brace from Darren Clark and Lee Hayes did the damage despite a Kristian Hewitt equaliser at 1-1.

A single Stock strike from the edge of the box was all that separated Locks Heath from their hosts Vosper Thornycroft in the top match of the round.

Esso Fawley Reserves defied their lowly league position to knock out Netley Central Sports 1-0 thanks to a Matthew Planck score.

Winchester City needed extra time to dispose of Colden Common Reserves 3-2 with Mark Daubney scoring twice and Stuart Finlay converting a spot kick.

Nursling defeated Eastleigh Reserves 3-0 with two goals from Paul Odam and one for Malc Callaway as three Drew Smith Homes Premier teams made it through to the last eight.

They were joined by Brendon, who defeated BAT Reserves 2-0, Derek Hitchcock opening the scoring and Mark Richardson sealing victory.

Ford Sports found Senior 2 underdogs Winsor a handful until they were reduced to ten men. The Premier side came through 4-2 after extra time. Pete Childs put the Motormen two up, but Winsor fought back through Dean Martin and Paul West.

Extra-time goals from Dave Ashley and James Morgan sealed their quarter-final place.

AFC Totton Reserves face Senior 1 Lyndhurst on February 3 for the last place in the quarter-final. The draw is tonight.
