Celebrate 40 years on the street and bid for a piece of classic script.
8th December 2000: Fsauctions, the Freeserve Auctions site, has teamed up with Coronation Street and This Morning to help celebrate 40 years on the street. Corrie fans will be given the opportunity to bid for an exclusive, once in a lifetime signed script, from the live hour long special, including famous lines from some of your favourite faces - Vera & Jack Duckworth, Ashley & Maxine and Deirdre & Ken Barlow, to name but a few. HRH The Prince of Wales and Coronation Street cast members have signed the one-off piece of Corrie history, which is expected to raise thousands of pounds for charity. All the proceeds from the auction are to go to Manchester based charity, Christie Against Cancer Appeal.
Bidding for the script will begin on Monday 11th of December and close on Thursday 14th December at 6:00pm. This Morning will be announcing the lucky bidder live on their programme.
Fans will also be able to log on to www.freeserve.com directly before and after the historic TV broadcast for a live webcast from The Street with exclusive interviews and a behind the scenes peek.
