HAMPSHIRE-based Britannia Leatherbarrows Removals and Storage is pioneering a new co-operation agreement for removal companies across Europe, thanks to the efforts of managing director David Trenchard.

The declaration, created among companies in Germany, Holland, Italy, and France as well as Great Britain was signed in Salzburg as an exclusive partnership for members of the group.

Leatherbarrow managing director David Trenchard says that his company has already benefited from the trade link.

"For international removals it is important to have reliable and professional counterparts at the other end of the move,'' says David Trenchard. "We have already been asked by a Hamburg-based company to handle a residential move to the Channel Islands.''

Over the last 12 months, export services have accounted for 20 per cent of turnover.
