AN elderly Hampshire couple, on their way to a hospital appointment, were admitted to casualty after their car was involved in a car crash.
The couple were being driven to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, by a volunteer ambulance driver, when he was involved in an accident with another car containing two people on the M27, near Fareham. The crash happened eastbound, between junction 11, at Fareham, and junction 12.
Paramedics treated the pensioners by the roadside and took them to hospital for accident and emergency treatment for whiplash neck injuries.
