STUDENTS at Fareham College have been busy fundraising - in the most fashionable way possible.
As part of their annual charity work, GNVQ Foundation health and social care students held a special fashion show and fundraising day, collecting a total of £400 for Imperial Cancer Research.
Students and lecturers did their best Naomi Campbell impressions as they sashayed down the catwalk modelling clothes supplied by a local fashion outlet.
Ten per cent of takings from the sale of the fashionwear was combined with money from a cake stall, raffle and collecting tins and donated to ICR.
Health and social care lecturer Pauline Didymus said students, who organise a similar event each year as part of their course, had surpassed themselves.
"They did a terrific job. Each year they have to do a team event, planning things and making forecasts," she said.
"I've never had such a terrific response. It was a mammoth effort. I'm so proud of them."
