Glenn Hoddle was today linked with the manager's job at Celtic with a national newspaper claiming he was being lined up for a summer switch to Parkhead.
But Hoddle's right-hand man John Gorman said: "It is just the papers again. It is the first time I have heard about it but I can't see Glenn going to Scotland."
Scottish sources say that Kenny Dalglish is likely to make a full-time return to management and that the fall-back options do not currently include former England boss Hoddle.
Gorman himself has frequently been linked with the Celtic job in the past.
