A SOUTHAMPTON school played host to a huge celebration of mathematics.
Shirley Warren Primary and Nursery School was the venue for the exhibition, which involved children from every class and scores of parents.
Visitors to the school got the chance to see sample lessons explaining the new government initiatives, which place much more emphasis on mental strategies.
Headteacher Sue Bailey said: "It's wonderful to see the children sharing their work with so many visitors."
