SHOPPERS passing the window of an antiques shop in Winchester have been performing several double takes-on seeing a vintage car.
Taking pride of place in Corbett, West and Wills antiques shop on Stockbridge Road is a 1959 Austin A35.
The rare, 95 per cent original, four-door vintage car is up for sale for £2,200.
Since going on show at the beginning of the month, when the shop opened, passers-by have been fascinated by the car.
John Corbett, one of the owners said: "We really wanted to give the impression of this shop as a living museum.
"Having people pop in all the time, telling us they used to own a similar car is very satisfying."
Other weird and wonderful antiques on display in the shop include a pond yacht with a seven-foot mast and an Edwardian cabinet in the form of a small interior greenhouse. The shop has a contemporary feel to it with other items on display including interior designs, paintings, and sculptures.
