Andover Golf Club held its Seniors Open which was a tremendous success with fine weather and a course in good condition following a thunderstorm the previous night.
Sixty competitors participated with 40 from other clubs as far away as Dorset, Cornwall and one from Coolangatta in Australia. The club president Tony Broad presented the prizes after the buffet lunch. Overall winner was Richard Swallow with a magnificent 41 points.
