A superb batting track gave White Hart-sponsored Penton a feast of runs and their first back to back victory for two years as they won at home by 52 runs.
Curiously asked to bat first Penton openers Roy Burch and captain Mick Vince took advantage of the lightning outfield until Vince played on for 15.
This brought in-form Mark Gibbs to the crease who, along with Burch made the visitors pay for their captain's decision to field. The pair pushed the score along at almost seven per over as both passed their fifties and took the score past 150.
