Sir.-Congratulations to all the staff and students of Basingstoke Primary Schools Music involved in the most powerful performance of Yanomano at The Anvil.
The choir, orchestra, dancers and speakers presented a seamless performance of great intensity.
It was remarkable for many reasons and I had to keep reminding myself of the age of these performers as the story unfolded.
This was a memorable evening of theatre involving more than 400 performers and representing many hundreds of hours of hard, dedicated work by these youngsters and their teachers.
Each and every one of them can hold their heads high.
How fortunate Basingstoke is to have so much young talent in its schools.
