EXCITED! Tristan Robinson, 13, of Greenway, was one of the lucky winners of a Gazette competition.
Tristan collected his prize, Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince, ahead of the others in the queue, last Friday at midnight, at Ottakar's.
He said: "It was a good reason to stay up late. I'd finished it within 24 hours and it's really good."
WELL done: To Eleanor Burt, Richard Nutton and Phillip Horton, who were among the 1,500-plus bike riders in the Big Wheel 11 in aid of St Michael's Hospice. Richard and Phillip completed the 18-mile course in just over two hours.
VOLUNTEERS: Are needed for the house-to-house campaign for St Michael's Hospice, which will take place between August 1 and 31.

LAST Friday: Saw Happy Faces Playgroup bid a fond farewell to 19 children who leave to start school.
The end of term was marked by an outing to Alice Holt Park, Farnham, and a farm-themed party.
Peggy Hutchins thanks all staff and committee for their efforts and commitment in the past year.
Children and parents expressed their thanks to all the dedicated staff by giving cards and gifts and completing a leavers' book.
Peggy said: "On behalf of all at Happy Faces, I wish the children success and happiness as they embark on their new adventure of school.
"We look forward to seeing those returning, plus greeting a new intake of children when we reopen on September 5."
