VILLAGE show: Schedules are still available from Redwoods for the show, which is on Saturday, July 30, and is being held at the junior school.

Many new exciting categories are available to enter, particularly for children.

On the day there will be a grand raffle, tombola and many other stalls.

MOBILE library: You may have noticed the absence of the mobile library last Friday.

This was due to the windscreen of the vehicle being vandalised while it was parked in its regular place behind South Ham Library.

Due to problems with obtaining a replacement windscreen, at the time of going to print it's not possible to confirm if the van will be back tomorrow.

If you would like to confirm the library's availability, please call 465102.

PARISH council: The next parish meeting is due to be held on July 28, and as usual, it will be at St Leonard's Centre.

The meeting starts with a public session at 7.50pm and the main meeting starts at 8pm.

Planning matters are often discussed at parish meetings, and don't forget, you can view all planning applications for properties in the village by logging on to www.basingstoke.gov.uk/planning/applications

In particular, there is a large development being planned in Hill Road, which may be of interest.

Plans and site layouts are available to view online.
