CELEBRITY mums Linda Barker and Alice Beer and car manufacturer Honda are joining forces to launch the Yummy Mummy Campaign for CLIC Sargent, a charity set up to care for children with cancer and their families.
Honda dealers will donate £5 to this worthy cause for every Yummy Mummy who comes into their dealership and test drives an FR-V - six-seater family recreational vehicle.
One lucky participant will also win one of these funky models worth about £15,000.
TV presenters Alice Beer and Linda Barker used the opportunity to meet some families who have benefited from this charity to launch the scheme with a picnic in Battersea Park.
National Yummy Mummy week runs from September 16-25.
Mummies are encouraged to organise events to help raise money for the scheme by organising events with their friends.
Mother of two-year-old twins, Alice Beer says: "Yummy Mummy Week gives people the perfect opportunity to get together and celebrate life, while raising money to help families who have a child with cancer.
"It's an easy way to raise money for such a worthwhile cause and enables mothers to have some fun!"
Merchandise and action packs are also available through contacting CLIC Sargent's website at
www.clicsargent.org.uk/yummymummy or by ringing 08451 206558.
The £5 Test Drive campaign runs from Saturday, July 30, until the end of September at participating dealerships.
