Trojans overcame a middle-order collapse to beat Burridge by seven wickets and clinch runners-up spot in Southern Electric Premier League, Division 3.
The Stoneham club appeared on course to win the championship itself until they suffered a shock defeat at Tichborne Park the previous week.
Unaware that New Milton were battling a lost cause at Gosport, Trojans knew they had to win at Burridge.
All seemed well as Trojans, having dismissed Burridge for 159, rallied from two early setbacks to move to 113-2 through Andy Denny (50) and Nigel le Bas (31).
But when Dan Dowds broke through, Steve Abbott (3-28) and Nick Creal (3-37) sent Trojans crashing to 133-7.
Fortunately for Trojans, Paul Douglas found a reliable partner in teenager Hal Mohammed and, amid increasing noise level from the field, guided them home.
Burridge's own innings had ebbed away from a promising 81-2, with the middle-order giving way after a useful stand between ex-Hampshire wicket-keeper Iain Brunnchweiler, below, (35) and Chris Mepham (25).
Nick Creal (32) lifted Burridge from 113-7 to an eventual 159 all out.
Tim Felstead (3-24), Jamie Donaldson (3-33), Paul Douglas (2-45) and Gary Nayyar (2-30) took the Trojans wickets.
Matt Bolland bagged 6-32 as Easton & Martyr Worthy dismissed Fair Oak for 109 to clinch a 66-run victory.
Bolland reduced Fair Oak to 39-6 before Derek Manning (39) and Tony Oxley (27) produced a half-century seventh-wicket stand.
Keith Brewster (3-13) finished the innings off.
Australian Scott Smith (53) and Brewster (31) top scored before EMW slumped from 1657-5 to 174 all out, with Matt Edwards (4-55) and Manning (3-23) causing problems.
