ENERGETIC children in Hook were skipping like mad to raise money for charity.
A total of 104 pupils at Hook Infant School, in Church View, took part in the sponsored skip in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
Teacher Louise Newman organised the mammoth event, which ran for two hours in the school hall.
Miss Newman said: "The children really, really enjoyed it, and lots of them chose to take part.
"We split them into teams, and each skipped for about 45 minutes."
The sponsored skip is a fundraising idea suggested by the British Heart Foundation for schools.
When the sponsorship money has been collected by all the pupils, 75 per cent of it will go to the British Heart Foundation and the rest will go to Hook Schools Parents Association.
The association raises money throughout the year, which is subsequently split between Hook Junior School and Hook Infant School at the end of each year.
