FUNDRAISING: Nick Ganf, of 11 Columbine Road, Kempshott, is helping to raise money for an Opdima machine at Basingstoke hospital.
It is an improvement to the current mammography equipment and will enhance visibility of small lesions.
Some biopsies and operations could be avoided.
Nick is "going pink for the girls", by getting pink highlights put in his hair, on November 28.
If you would like to sponsor him, then please send your name and address to his address above, or call 359384 after 4pm.
BASINGSTOKE Breast Cancer Self Help Group: Is holding its next support meeting on Tuesday, November 29, from 7pm to 9pm.
The meeting is in The ARK conference centre, which is at the rear of Basingstoke hospital.
For more information, please contact Ann Vickery on 358646.
OLD Down Hall: Has some daytime and evening slots available for hire.
To book, or for more information, call 356974.
UNFORTUNATELY: Due to not enough news coming in I may have to give up this column.
If this does not change in the next couple of weeks, there will not be a Kempshott Community News.
