CHRIST Church: During November, the congregation will be continuing its study of the book of Daniel.
SHOEBOXES: And finally, don't forget that Christ Church, Reading Road, is well under way with preparations for sending shoeboxes filled with small gifts for less fortunate children in Eastern Europe and Iraq.
They can be filled with such things as soap, pencils, shampoo, sweets, toothpaste, notebooks, soft toys, jewellery, toy cars, gloves, hats and scarves.
The Shoebox Roadshow and Christingle Service will take place on Sunday, November 27, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, when the shoeboxes will be loaded onto the lorry.
