AGM and social meeting: Cliddesden, Farleigh Wallop and Ellisfield Horticultural Society's AGM and social meeting takes place on Wednesday, November 30, in Ellisfield.
COMMUNITY conservation: Work took place last weekend when the Cliddesden Community Conservation Group had its first sessions of hedge planting, from Headstarts Nursery up towards Farleigh church.
When I arrived on Sunday, at about 11.30am, there were already several people digging holes, planting, staking and covering the hedgerow plants.
After an hour's labour, I called at Headstarts for a welcome cup of tea.
Thanks must go to the nursery for allowing the group to use its facilities.
