FED-up residents living near Southampton General Hospital are demanding action to stop health workers parking on their roads.
They say it is impossible to park outside their homes because hospital staff are taking up their spaces.
Some residents even leave their wheelie bins in their parking spaces outside their houses to prevent them being occupied by hospital staff.
They are demanding that Southampton City Council introduces a residents' parking scheme in St James's Park Road, Vinery Road, Vinery Gardens and St Winifred's Road.
However, union leaders say that parking at the hospital is expensive and there are not enough spaces for staff.
They say the £20-a-month staff parking permit is too costly and spaces are frequently not available.
