WINCHESTER police are investigating whether two jewellery raids are linked.
Two leather-bound boxes, which contained an Omega watch, a charm bracelet and earrings, with a combined value of around £1,000, were taken from a house at Twyford on Sunday night.
Two stone planters were also stolen from the garden.
The next day, intruders climbed onto the roof of a conservatory at Main Road, Littleton, and then smashed a first-floor window
They rifled through a jewellery box and stole a gold charm bracelet, a sapphire and diamond ring, and other precious items totalling £3,400 in value.
