Southampton face an anxious finale to the season after crashing 4-3 to Hampshire League title rivals Weymouth at Redlands.
The pressure will be on Chris Stokes and Co as Southampton must win Saturday's final match against Andover at the Sports Centre (1.30pm) to ensure Weymouth don't snatch the championship from their grasp.
Weymouth, one point behind Southampton, travel to lowly Portsmouth & Southsea.
A win at Weymouth would have settled things - but Southampton's performance seldom rose above mediocrity throughout the 70 minutes.
Stokes cancelled out Weymouth's half-time lead, only for the Dorset side to go ahead again.
Fine finishes by Gary Watts and Andy Whiteside gave Southampton a flattering 3-2 lead, but two soft goals in the last ten minutes handed Weymouth a victory that has set the nerves jangling in SHC quarters.
