COUNCIL workers might have thought that rats had brought their own accommodation with them to set up home on a major roundabout at Chandler's Ford.
For they discovered a tent as they carried out a rodent search in the heavily wooded roundabout near the Asda store in Bournemouth Road.
An Eastleigh Council spokesman said: "Several months ago an inspection of the Asda Roundabout for a reported rodent problem was undertaken by borough council staff.
"The tent was not occupied and there was no evidence that it was being lived in."
