ONE of the world's biggest selling authors will be coming to Marwell Zoo.
Wilbur Smith will be heading to the zoo at Colden Common to formally open the park's new Heart of Africa enclosure.
Mr Smith, author of such best-sellers as The Triumph of the Sun, Warlock and Monsoon will tour the new facilities that include homes for Congo buffalo, bongo, Nile monitors, pottos and an aquarium for exotic fish from Lake Malawi.
He will then formally open the new raised walkway, which leads into the giraffe enclosure and allows visitors to get up close to the zoo's gentle giants.
The event, which will also include a book signing, takes place on Tuesday, April 4 from 11am.
