POLICE in Winchester have appealed for witnesses to a car crash after one of the passengers died in hospital.
The accident happened as one car overtook another on the A303 near Micheldever Station, just north of Winchester, on Tuesday at about 5.30pm.
A 75-year-old woman from Marlborough who was cut free from the wreckage of one of the cars was taken to the North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke, but died from her injuries on Friday.
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the collision to get in contact with them on 0845 045 4545.
