A COMMUNITY development project for St Mary's Church, Amport is embarking on the second stage of its programme to make the church more useable.
Fundraising has now begun in earnest and the Parochial Church Council needs to raise about £120,000 to complete the job. Mr David Mallam, deputy chairman of the church council, says they started planning the project over three years ago.
