ONE of Hampshire’s biggest green events of the summer takes place next Sunday.
The Sustainability Centre, in East Meon, is hosting the second annual Hampshire Green Fair.
Organisers say it will be packed with inspirational ideas for simple ways to a greener, more sustainable future.
Children can take part in bushcraft, chalk carving, traditional bread making and a fancy dress parade.
The centre’s main paddock will be lined with stalls selling ethically sourced goods and local produce.
Centre manager Mary Lewis said: “We believe that sustainability should be colourful and fun, it should be about getting involved, discovering your local community and taking pride in your local environment.”
The fair will run from 10am to 5pm on Sunday, May 9. Entrance is £4 for adults, £2 for children and under-fives go free.
