A NEW music and chill out room for young cancer patients in memory of Hampshire teenager Jenna Hill is set to become reality.
Together fundraisers from the Teenage Cancer Trust and Wave 105s’s Cash for Kids have reached their £50,000 target.
They helped to raise the money in memory of 18-year-old Jenna Hill from Holbury who died last year following a brave battle with cancer.
Despite being just 15 when she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer of the spine, Jenna agreed to be one of the inspirational faces of the Teenage Cancer Trust and helped with the fundraising.
She had always wanted somewhere that she could mix with people the same age and have somewhere to chat and share experiences with others.
The money raised will now be used to create a special chill out room with music facilities for young cancer patients in Jenna’s memory at Southampton General Hospital.
