TRAINSPOTTERS should look out for the first mainline steam locomotive as it makes its way through Hampshire today.

Hauling a train from London Waterloo the £3m Tornado will stop for a quick crew change at Eastleigh at 11am. It is then expected to make its way to Southampton passing through the city’s central train station at 11.26am.

If keen spotters miss the Tornado, made by the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust, they can see it again on Sunday evening as it makes its way through Hampshire again from Waterloo for Father’s Day.
