TORY parking bosses want to bring in controversial plans to charge disabled people to park across Hampshire, the Daily Echo can reveal.
Hampshire County Council chiefs will decide today whether to force blue badge holders to pay for car parks at country parks, libraries and museums.
The proposals have come under fire from disabled groups and politicians.
They say the move is “cruel and heartless”.
Cllr Peter Chegwyn, said: “It would be a terrible move.
To take a few pounds from disabled people is penny pinching of the worst kind.”
