The California Dreams Tour.

Thursday 31 March 2011.

Katy Perry will be setting off on her biggest World tour soon and returns to our fine shores March 2011 with The California Dreams Tour, including a date at the BIC Windsor Hall on Thursday 31st March. She will be extending her new album's Cotton Candy theme to the live shows, so it's sure to be an utterly mesmerizing and unique experience for fans. Tickets go on sale this Saturday 16th October at 9am.

Katy says "I hope that it's going to engage all of your senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, touch". On November 15th Katy is set to return with her new single 'Firework'. The single is one of Katy's personal favourites from her new album 'Teenage Dream'. Just like its title, the song fizzes and bursts, rising up to a glorious string laden exploding chorus.

Despite her previous singles, 'California Gurls’ and 'Teenage Dream' being released in June and August respectively, they still sit in the Top 10 of the UK Radio Airplay chart. All three singles come from her new album 'Teenage Dream' which has sold over 1.7 million globally; whilst more than 10 million singles, tracks and videos have been sold worldwide.

Katy recently received 5 nominations at this year's MTV EMAs. She also appeared on Sesame Street's website in a parody clip of "Hot N Cold" with Elmo. It went online and caused mass hysteria!

Katy’s success has led her to become one of the most talked-about new artists of the past two years. Since exploding onto the scene in 2008 she has sold out her own 50-city world headlining tour plus performed and hosted – twice - at the MTVs European Music Awards where she also won Best New Act in 2008. As well as several Grammy nominations Katy won a Brit Award in 2009 for Best International Female.
