Chip pan caught fire at Maybush flat
A 43-year-old man was treated in hospital for smoke inhalation after his chip pan caught fire yesterday evening.
Fire-fighters from St Mary's and Totton fire stations, responding to a 999 call at 5.17pm, rescued the man from his first floor flat on Colne Avenue, in Maybush, Southampton.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital. No-one else was injured.
