A TRIO of Southampton pubs have been sold for around £1m.
Admiral Taverns put the pubs up for sale following a review of its estate.
The Shirley Hotel, in Shirley High Street, was sold to a local property investor for around £365,000.
Two other pubs, The Percy Arms in Bitterne, and The St Denys in St Denys, were sold to local property developers who both intend to build houses on the sites. They had guide prices of £275,000 and £285,000.
The pubs were sold through the Winchester office Christie + Co which has been instructed to put 150 Admiral pubs across England and Wales on the market.
