Fire-fighters rescue trapped elderly woman
FIRE-FIGHTERS had to turn house breakers to come to the rescue of an elderly woman who got trapped in her bedroom.
The emergency crews were called to Beech Close, Hiltingbury, after the handle fell off the door.
Family members tried to get in the house to help but were stopped by a security chain.
Fire crews got into her bedroom on their ladders and manipulated the lock to release her at 9.50pm last night.
